i've made an angelfire webstie based on my text-based RPG that i'm working on. if any would like to go there and either download the .class files to play the game or download the sourcecode to learn something (or help me with the game!), please go to:

i'll be updating the download section (and maybe the art section) every now and then, so check in every so often!
oh yea, it's also got documentation like my notes i used when making the game and my design document for the game. you can download the ODD and see how well i stay on track! ^_^

funny ... kraal is a dutch word .. meaning the place where you keep cattle .. the same as the african and portugese word as i read in your faq :)

maybe the portugese got it from the dutch then gave it to the africans when they colonized the area O.o
i think i said it in my faq, but i just made up the word, the google'd it... wierd, eh?

oh, yea, i've got version 0.2 up now ^_^ it's got saving and loading added in (this is where i got my "file access: saving to disk" code war >.>)
i still haven't progressed the story though ^^; i'll probably do that once i get run working...

dont know much about portugal ... but the netherlands colonized (i dont know if thats the right word) south africa in the past .. their language is still very similar to dutch
